The Saint Louis Zoo (Zoo) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide contract services for removal and replacement of the Zoo's Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) for the North and South parking lots the Zoo operates. This project will include the installation of parking gates, Pay on Foot (POF) payment machines and recommended shelters (if needed), in-lane entry and exit devices, as well as Variable Message Sign (VMS) displays at parking entrances, and roadway locations surrounding the Zoo. The project will include removal of existing equipment and identified attendant booths, reconfiguration of entrance and exit lanes to include construction of new islands, installation of new PARCS hardware and software including POF payment stations, installation of roadway and location entrance VMS signs, and provision of network/power connections for new equipment (where required). A responding qualified vendor shall have expertise in all phases of the work associated with the design, construction, installation, coordination, set-up, training, on-going support, and maintenance of the proposed system(s). Any submitted proposal shall remain valid and subject to acceptance for ninety (90) days after the proposal due date. All questions must be received by August 17, 2023 for issuing of addendums. All emailed questions and answers will be shared with all responders. The source of the questions will remain anonymous.
