For the construction of the Sanitary Sewer Extension Along U S Hwy 11 which generally includes 481 LF of 12" DIP Sanitary Sewer, 1,377 LF of 12" PVC Sanitary Sewer, 54 LF of 24" Steel Encasement (Open Cut), 34 LF 24" Bore & Jack, 40 LF 20" Bore & Jack, 13 Sanitary Sewer MH, and other miscellaneous work and appurtenances. Requests for Documents will be honored until forty eight (48) hours prior to the Bid Opening; no Documents will be issued after that time. All Bidders must be properly licensed by the State Licensing Board of General Contractors of Alabama. A certified check, or Bid Bond for 5% of the total Bid, (maximum $10,000.00) made payable to the City of Vance must accompany each Bid. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the Bidding or reject any and/or all Bids. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
