Project shall consist of relocating the relocating the 65' x 35' "party dock" to the new location shown on plans. As part of this relocation the contractor shall remove dock railing panels and relocate them to accommodate the new openings. In the area where the floating dock was removed the contractor shall furnish and install railing to address gap created by the "party dock" removal. The concrete "party dock" decking shall be replaced with composite decking. Upon the relocated party dock the contractor shall construct a wood frame ship store to the size and at the location shown on plans. All finishes colors hardware etc., shall be coordinated with owner. See sheets 3 and 6 for further notes. Three 20' finger docks and approximately 52' of dock extension shall be installed as shown on plans. An approximately 50' connector dock shall attach the existing fueling dock to the docks to the north. All docks shall have appropriate railing installed. Bid security is set in the fixed amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Questions Deadline: 8/23/2023 08:00 AM (CT) The City Council will award the bid at their meeting on September 12, 2023. The low bidder must return the signed contract and performance bond by September 22, 2023. The above work shall be commenced as soon as possible after the contract and bond have been approved by the City Attorney and have been signed by the Mayor and City Clerk. The substantial completion date for this project shall be April 1, 2024. All punch list and final completion items shall be complete by May 3, 2024. Liquidated damages shall be $250.00 per day, as per the special conditions.
