The City of Liberty Hill, herein after "City", seeks to enter into an agreement with a qualified Individual, Firm or Corporation, herein after "Respondent", to furnish, install and provide all labor and materials required for the construction of approximately 5,783 L.F. of 21'' ASTM F679 PS115 PVC wastewater gravity main and 7,584 L.F. of 24'' ASTM F679 PS115 PVC wastewater gravity main at varying depths up to 24 ft. , 45 - 5' diameter standard manholes, 2 - 5' diameter drop manholes, manhole vents with vaults, 391 L.F. of road bore with 42" steel casing and 24" wastewater gravity main, 21" and 24" diameter slick bores, short wastewater service line installation, saw cutting and replacing existing pavement and concrete driveways, erosion control, tree demolition and removal, 6' chain link fence removal and replacement and other items, as more fully described in the Construction Plans and Project Specifications. Liquidated Damages: Liquidated damages shall apply in the amount of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day for each day past the agreed upon delivery date every month. Performance And Payments Bonds: Successful respondent shall deliver to City both a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond no later than the 10th day after the agreement has been executed both for the Project price. Penal sums for both bonds shall each be equal to the agreed upon Project price. A bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Liberty Hill or negotiable US Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of bid bond.
