This project is for the engineering and replacement of the main chiller at the Volusia County Branch Jail. The current chiller was installed in 2000 and has reached the end of its useful lifespan. Current warranty and maintenance agreements expire in June of 2024. Along with the chiller, the primary chilled water pumps, secondary chilled water pumps, and the condenser water pumps will be replaced. All existing underground piping will be abandoned in place and new piping will be installed overhead. The installation needs to be integrated with the existing Direct digital control system. Question Submission Deadline: August 24, 2023, 11:30pm The County of Volusia, Corrections is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the construction of Volusia County Branch Jail Chillers located at 1300 Red John Drive, Daytona Beach, FL 32124. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings.
