Request for Qualifications (RFQ) sets forth the procedures and requirements to be employed by the Town of Nantucket and its NEW SKILLED NURSING FACILITY Building Committee in procuring the services of a Designer for a new Skilled Nursing facility (the Project). The selected design firm will prepare plans and documents to assist in the planning, design and construction administration for the Project. Question Deadline 08/11/2023 at 3:00 PM ET Work will include providing Design Services for the following phases of the project including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Bidding; Construction Administration and Closeout services may be added contingent upon approval of construction funding by the Nantucket Town Meeting. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The contract with the selected firm will be for a term of up to three (3) years, with an effective start date planned for September 2023. At least three (3) skilled nursing facility projects of $20 million in value or more. Additional emphasis placed on projects in Massachusetts. The Nantucket Board of Selectmen is the awarding authority. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals; to waive any defects, informalities, and minor irregularities; to award a contract; or cancel this RFQ if it is in the Town's best interest to do so.
