The Village of Tahsis is initiating a pre-qualification process to establish a select list of qualified General Contractors and Major Subcontractors for the demolition of an existing structure and construction of new Marine Facilities in Tahsis, BC, located on Vancouver Island. This request aims to identify experienced and capable contractors to undertake the project. The general scope of work includes: 1. Structural, Geotechnical and Civil: a. Demolition of Existing Boat Launch Panels, Timber Pier Structure, Timber piles, Steel Gangway and Timber Float. b. Construction of new Boat Ramp (includes Regrading of boat launch), Lock-block Abutment, Steel piles, and installation of shoreline protection. c. Design and Construction of Aluminium Pedestrian Access Walkways and gangways, Composite Aluminum Floats, and Concrete Breakwater Float. 2. Site Servicing Construction a.
