The Project includes provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to insulate steam and condensate piping as indicated in included scope of work document. The existing pipe insulation is asbestos-containing and will be removed by others prior to the start of insulation work. Close coordination with the abatement contractor will be required in order to schedule activities to follow one another, to limit downtime, to help anticipate any possible delays, and to address any lead time issues as the piping cannot be left uninsulated between scopes Attendance will be documented through a sign-in sheet prepared by the Owner's Representative. Prime bidders who arrive more than 5 minutes after start of time of the meeting (as stated in the Solicitation Document and by the Owner's Representative's watch) or after the discussion portion of the meeting (whichever comes first) shall not be permitted to sign in and will not be permitted to submit a bid on the Project. No offer will be received or considered by Owner unless the offer contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the offer that states: "Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.838, 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148." All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board at the time of bid submission. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid form provided.
