The work includes: the demolition of the existing concrete dome cover of the fixed cover digester, erection, installation, and testing of a new stainless steel dome cover on the digester, including associated structural, mechanical, electrical and other work as required. Each General Bid must be accompanied by a current Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) showing that the bidder has the classification and capacity rating to perform the Work and an Update Statement. Each Filed Sub-Bid must be accompanied by a current Certificate of Eligibility issued by DCAMM showing that the Sub-Bidder has been certified to participate on public construction projects and perform the class of work for which the Sub-Bid is submitted. Each Filed Sub-Bid must also be accompanied with an Update Statement. Filed Sub-Bids will be required on the following classes of work: Division Sub-trades 5 Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron 7 Waterproofing, Dampproofing and Caulking 7 Roofing and Flashing 16 Electrical Work This contract is subject to a 7.24% MBE and a 3.6% WBE participation requirement.
