Upgrading, replacing, and maintaining security cameras and equipment The purpose of this RFP is to select one or more "Respondents" to provide the following services to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office: (1) Upgrade and replace existing security cameras (the "Security Cameras") on the following County property: Douglas County Sheriff's Office (Interior and Exterior) Douglas County Sheriff's Office Correctional Facility (2) Upgrade and/or replace any defective or existing Security Cameras on an as needed basis. There are currently 23 cameras associated with the facility. We are expecting a total camera count to exceed 70 cameras. (3) The installation of all necessary hardware and software for the management of the Security Cameras and storage of digital footage for a minimum of 90 days. A 240 TB IP camera server is requested. (4) Software must be able to accompany breach of perimeter detection and zone privacy areas. (5) Maintenance of any Security Cameras installed by the Respondent and the Related Equipment for a period of at least two (2) years. (6) Training of County employees on the use of the Security Camera System. (7) Audio Communications System - For this option we would like to replace our existing audio communications system in the Intake Area (Booking) that communicates to the speakers outside of the dayrooms in the hallways. The existing speakers can be retrofitted. (8) Respondent must have a proven and documented history of providing new and retro-fit camera systems within a public safety and correctional facility environment. We would like to have installed a new digital communications controller (DCC) that will support up to 16 speakers.
