The City of Flora will receive bids for the Gas Plant Building Roof and Siding Replacement project including removal of existing rooing and siding, installing approximately 895 square feet of metal rooing, 300 square feet of translucent rooing, 2,220 square feet of metal siding, and ancillary work Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ive percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Flora reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Flora for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualiications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. This work shall include the removal and replacement of the roof and siding panels on the gas plant building, North Ave., Flora, Illinois 62839. The Contractor shall remove the existing roof and siding panels. The Contractor shall examine the project site and furnish and install flashings and curbs for all roof penetrations and wall connections. The nominal dimensions of the building are shown on the plans These dimensions are for information only. The Contractor shall verify the size of the roof area and siding area to be replaced. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services to complete the work. Although not specifically indicated the Contractor shall furnish and install all miscellaneous and incidental items, and appurtenances for a complete sound, secure installation. The Contractor shall comply with all local, state, federal, and OSHA safety requirements.
