Sealed bids for furnishing the items/services listed on the enclosed bid quotation form. The Lawrence County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any formality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed. The bid number must appear on all bids and related correspondences. Installation of: (4) 4 Ton Gas Packs (4) 45' Socks Utilize existing gas lines. Include conversion kits for propane. Lawrence County Board of Education will provide equipment only. Equipment will need to be picked up at our Maintenance Shop (located at: 915 Rosenwald St. Moulton, AL 35650). All materials needed to perform installation will be provided by contractor and will need to be noted on bid. All materials and work intended to be provided will need to be noted on bid. Materials will need to match equipment manufacturer's specifications. All equipment is to be installed according to all applicable state and local mechanical codes. All refrigerant lines are required to be insulated. All drain lines will be required to be insulated. All electrical wires providing electrical supply must be in hard metal conduit, with exception for weathertight flex at unit. Contractor will provide electrical service disconnects at condenser units. Disconnects need to be breaker type or fusible type. Matching equipment specified Max Overcurrent Protection or Max Fuse. Contractor is responsible for wiring from existing service panel to the disconnect and to the unit. Communication cable will be provided by contractor and will need to be in conduit on exterior of building. All refrigerant lines, drain lines, and conduit are to be supported by unistrut material and correct unistrut clamps for intended material it is supporting. All wall penetrations are to be made by contractor. All wall penetrations to be sealed by contractor. All refrigerant lines, drain lines, and electrical conduit to be covered by plastic line hides on exterior wall. Contractor will make all refrigerant line, electrical communication and supply power connections, and drain line connections. All work will be inspected by Maintenance Department before payment is issued. Any contradictions between contractors itemized bid and Lawrence County Board of Education's bid specifications will revert to bid request specifications.
