Construction of a wastewater meter vault, drop manhole, site piping, force main, gravity sewer, electrical improvements, and associated work The goal for MBE is 2% of the total dollar value of the project. The goal for WBE is 3% of the total dollar value of the project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and further reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to hold the three (3) low Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid opening to complete financial arrangements. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bid Security in the form of a Bidder's Bond executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of North Dakota, payable to the Cass Rural Water District, in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid. Final Completion - July 1, 2024 Construction of a wastewater meter vault (which includes a 12 ft x 8 ft precast concrete vault, 6-inch process piping, 6-inch plug valves, 6-inch magnetic flow meter, and appurtenances); a drop manhole; site piping and connection of an 8-inch sewer forcemain to the meter vault, 6-inch site piping from the meter vault to a drop manhole, 15-inch gravity sewer site piping from the drop manhole to an existing lift station wetwell; removal of an existing wet well dual pump system within the existing lift station and replacement with a new dual pump system; all associated piping, fittings, and appurtenances; electrical improvements to accommodate the new dual pump system, new 6-inch magnetic flow meter, heat tape installed on the process piping, and associated electrical Work; site restoration; seeding; and gravel.
