Phase 300-700 Professional Architectural/Engineering services for the following work: 1) Build an approximately 6000 sq ft new education/meeting center at Bald Mountain Shooting Range. a. Education center to feature approx. 2500 square feet of classroom space, 1000 sq ft of gunsmithing/gun fitting space, 1500 sq ft of storage / warehousing space and 1000 sq ft of office space. b. Classroom space will be designed in a way that will also allow us to accommodate a group of 100 people indoors for a meeting at the facility, corporate outing, fundraiser, or private event. 2) Review existing facility infrastructure and make improvements/replacements as required. a. Shooting structure roofs, backstop/berm lead reclamation, support structures b. Mechanical equipment 3) Pave sporting clay course to ADA standards. a. Pulverize and regrade existing base, supply base repair, grade, and compact base, and install 3" of 1100T asphalt wearing and compact. b. Widening of the paths and paving the courses will allow the clays courses to accommodate individuals with mobility issues (wheelchairs, disabilities, etc.). 4) Evaluate and convert portions of the rifle and pistol lanes for weather proofing for year-round use. a. Three-sided structure with heat and sound attenuation features b. Reconstruct the shooting benches to allow for semi-enclosed, heated shooting on the rifle & pistol range. i. Maintain accessibility requirements. 5) Expand and improve/pave parking lot and improve ADA parking. 6) Renovate existing 5 stand structure to weatherproof and allow winter shooting. a. Renovate the existing 5-stand structure(s) for better heating solution for year-round use. b. Install pole mounted stadium-style lights for late afternoon/evening usage. Estimated to increase facility usage in the winter months by 75%-100% c. Possible option to add 2 additional 5 stand buildings. 7) Design and install motorized entrance gates/arch to increase visibility and security. a. Electricity at gate b. Lighting at gate c. Ranger check station/entrance booth (power, heating) 8) Design and install electronic target retrieval system for the rifle and pistol range. a. Installation of a target retrieval system which will allow customers to check and replace their target without the need for a range check. Prioritize pistol range.
