1. Replacement of existing Master Clock System and Intercom System with new head end equipment. Provide all equipment including, but not limited to, outlet boxes, wiring, speakers, and all other necessary equipment to provide a complete operating system as indicated with the contract documents. Provide all necessary wall plates, specialty boxes, etc. Provide rack system for equipment mounting and installation. 2. Replace/Add paging speakers. Replace/Add Intercom stations. Replace/add Master Clock stations. 3. Reuse wiring where possible. Add new cabling/wiring as indicated. 4. The Communication System shall provide distribution of intercom, overhead paging, emergency paging, class change time tones, emergency tones, program material and on-board emergency messaging. 5. The Communication System shall replace any existing Simplex 5130 intercom system and shall distribute intercom, overhead paging, emergency paging, class change time tones, emergency tones and program material over the existing speakers in all buildings, including portable buildings, not being remodeled. Provide required IP gateways at the removed equipment location to integrate the existing speakers into the new Communication System. 6. The Communication System shall be interfaced with the schools telephone system to ensure full access to the Communication System speakers. Coordinate all work with the Districts IT Department. The work required by these specifications shall include furnishing all labor, skill, supervision, tools, construction plant, equipment and materials and performing all operations necessary for the properly completed contract work as shown on the Drawings, as mentioned in these specifications, and as evidently required, to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer.
