Reference Number 0000325964 *The Oswego County Highway Department is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for an Electrical Upgrade to the Mix Plant located at 1391 ST RT 11, Hasting, NY.* Deadline For Questions: Tuesday, August 8, 2023, by 3:00 p.m. We will only answer questions that are emailed to purchasing@oswegocounty.com. General Requirements - Insurance Required - License Required - Prevailing Wage Required The term of the contract shall be for one (1) year effective from the date of Contract award and may be extended at the same terms and conditions and bid price by mutual agreement between both parties. The County Reserves The Right To Reject Any Or All Bids. Demolition and removal of the existing cabling associated with the (31) power feeds and (39) control cables currently installed. o Removal of the existing Plant Blending System and PLC from the control house. o Removal of existing motor cabling from the MCC to all motors. (MCC to be reused) o Installation of the Plant Blending PLC cabinet. o Installation of conduit/cable tray between the MCC and PLC cabinets. o Installation of control cabling between the MCC and PLC cabinets. o Installation of new NEMA 3R wireways under the existing control house. o Installation of (31) new motor feeds. (6 of the new feeds to be VFD rated cable) o Installation of (39) new control cables from Control House to MCC. o Installation of new cable tray along the existing equipment as necessary. o Installation of new underground conduits to extend from the existing control house out to all the remote mounted equipment. o Final terminations of all newly installed cabling. o All cable installed in the cable tray will be UV rated. o All field terminations are to be installed with strain reliefs. o Start up and testing support.
