This project is a two part project as the City of Midland start to utilize electric vehicles. Part A will be installation of feeder from a new Consumers Energy Transformer into the Municipal Service Center and upgrading of the existing main building disconnect. Part B is the installation of two Class II chargers and one Class III DC Fast charger. Both parts of the project will happen in conjunction with each other. The Municipal Service Center can be down with no power for a maximum of 4 hours. Technical questions shall be directed to Tyler Abbs, City of Midland Facilities Manager at (989) 837-3370. Invitation to Bid and all its pages, documents and attachments, including those added subsequently by written notice, submitted and properly executed, shall constitute the contract between the City of Midland and the successful vendor when approved and accepted by the City. A certified check or bid bond for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal will be required with each bid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any parts of any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to award in the best interests of the City of Midland.
