Construction of a new fire hall in Candiac. The new facility will feature a parking garage for fire engines and special equipment, a combat clothing storage room, a hose drying tower, a living area sector, a training room and technical rooms. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded professional consultants for the project design and construction work monitoring. Preliminary studies and conceptual planning are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in late 2023. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling working drawings will begin in mid-summer 2024, a tender for the general contractor being planned for November/Decembler of the same year.
