Direct questions to the Architects Representative: Liz Brown, telephone: 515.243.9143, e-mail: Liz.Brown@ISGInc.com You are invited to submit a sealed bid for a single prime contract for the Construction for the City of Newton Westwood Golf Course Clubhouse. This contract includes but is not limited to the following: 1. All materials, equipment, transportation and labor needed to construct the building, according to Drawings and Specifications at the project location. The Scope of work for this project shall be as set forth in the Drawings and Specifications. 2. Project items include but are not limited to: Site utilities and paving, landscaping including accessories and block retaining wall, complete building demolition and hazardous material abatement as required by the testing reports included in the specifications, precast hollow-core and cast in place concrete, masonry and cast stone, hybrid wood/steel roof trusses, structural steel, wood framing and decking, gypsum board assemblies, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, new lighting and electrical, access controls and technology, aluminum storefront, commercial floor coverings, polished concrete, paint, glass-fiber reinforced panels, wood-fiber wall panels, commercial millwork, acoustic tile ceilings, membrane roofing, metal roof and wall panels roofing, and signage. 3. The total area proposed building area is 5,588 SF on two level. The Scope of Work for this project shall be as set forth in the Drawings and Specifications. The project will be divided into a Base Bid and Add Alternates #1 (Open Air Shelter) as designated in the drawings and specifications. Additional Description: 4. Bids will be received per information in this section. It is the Owner's intent to award a Contract for Construction to a Single Prime Contract for General Construction - Stipulated Sum, with Bid Alternates. AIA A101 2017 contract will be used. 5. Oral, telephonic, telegraphic, facsimile or other electronically transmitted bids will not be considered. 6. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A more detailed description of the kinds of materials and types of construction for which bids will be received are set forth in the Bidding Documents prepared by ISG, of Des Moines, Iowa, which, together with the proposed form of contract, have heretofore been approved by the City Council, and are now on file for public examination in the office of the Community Services Director, and are by this reference made part hereof as though fully set out and incorporated herein.
