Question End Date 10/19/2023 2:00 PM The City of Newberry is soliciting bids for an ongoing concrete and masonry construction project aimed at improving pedestrian infrastructure within the city. This Request for Bids (RFB) presents an opportunity for qualified contractors to participate in the construction and expansion of sidewalks, masonry, and other concrete projects in various areas of Newberry. It is the intent of this solicitation to secure multiple sources for concrete construction for the City of Newberry for a period of one (1) year with up to four (4) possible one (1) year options to concrete sidewalks. At the end of each year, the City will meet with the qualified contractors to discuss pricing increases/decreases for the following year prior to executing an additional year. The City’s estimated needs each year are approximately 1500 linear feet of sidewalk and/or concrete construction. Projects will vary in size, and total amount of sidewalk laid or replaced may exceed or not meet the estimated linear feet indicated here. Work is on an as needed basis with no guarantee of work.
