The Town of Hartford is requesting bids for emergency slope stabilization services at the northeast corner of the Quechee Covered Bridge. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all necessary services and materials to construct the temporary Type IV stone slope as depicted on plan according to the specifications, timelines and schedules generally described below. Bacon Davis Act: All wages paid to the various classes of laborers and mechanics employed under the contract including subcontractors are to be paid no less than the locally prevailing wages and fringe benefits paid on projects of a similar character as determined by the Secretary of Labor for Windsor County, Vermont. Each invoice shall be accompanied by Certified Payroll Form a WH-347. Restoration: Restoration of the adjacent surfaces including topsoil, seed, much, hardpack, shrubs, trees, and fencing is to be included. Rejection of Bids: The Town of Hartford reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to award contracts in whole or in part if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town. Contractor shall provide all necessary services and materials to construct the temporary Type IV stone slope as depicted on plan according to the specifications, timelines and schedules generally described below
