Project Description: The scope of the project includes the construction of three new additions; Addition 1: a new front entry vestibule; Addition 2: a new connecting link with two restrooms, lobby, storage, and a Caterer Kitchen; and Addition 3: a gymnasium. All three additions combined total approximately 5000 SQFT. Additions 1 & 2 are of metal stud construction with metal roof panels and an EIFS exterior finish. Addition 3 is a pre-manufactured, mono-slope, metal building for a half-size basketball court, with metal roof and wall panels. Civil work includes new sidewalks, parking pavement, parking spaces, and new water and gas lines. MEP scope of work includes the following. The existing air handling unit will be reused and moved to the roof of the new addition and re-ducted. Two new roof top units will provide HVAC to the lobby and gym area. A new 600A service will be brought in to the new addition and the existing 400A service will be refed from the new. The remainder of the new power will energize the lobby and gym. A new 1 water service and 4 sanitary with be run in the existing parking area out to the street. This will supply and drain two new bathrooms and a concessions area. Instantaneous water heating will be utilized.
