Non-Appropriated Funds: Provide labor, material, equipment, management, and supervision required to repair 60SF roof on building 1493. Work shall comply with current Florida building codes and base standards. The magnitude of Construction Costs is between $75,000.00-$175,000.00 Period of Performance: 90 Days Site Visit: 27 July 2023 at 10:00 AM EST Question Deadline 08/01/2023 at 10:00 AM ET All questions and answers should be submitted in writing , to support the proposal closing date (10:00 AM EST on August 3, 2023) using the Question and Answer (Q & A) Template provided to isaac.ball.3@spaceforce.mil. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. STATEMENT OF WORK Provide labor, material, equipment, management, and supervision required to repair 60SF roof on building 1493. Work shall comply with current Florida building codes and base standards. Work requirements are as follows: 1. Demolition. a. Remove existing thatch for tiki hut and chickee hut. b. Remove existing speakers, outlets, lights and ceiling fans Clean as required. c. Remove existing wood siding to be replaced. d. Inspect existing Rafters and purlins and replace as necessary (approx. 96LF) e. Remove 1" x 4" cedar gable end planks. f. Remove existing pavers to be reinstalled. 2. Temp Support. a. Install temporary support for existing roofing system. 3. Wood columns. a. Excavate around existing wood columns. b. Cut columns 2' above finish floor to remove damaged wood. c. Form sonic tube 12" dia. with textured liner, like Calico, to match stone wall. d. Concrete 4000 psi with reinforcing 6- #4 vertical with 1 1/2 " cover and #3 ties at 8" apart see attached sketch. e. Provide 3 tests cylinders broke at 7 days, and 21days. f. Slope concrete 1:12 to drain water away from wood column attachment area. g. Install hold down fasteners and reinstall wood columns. h. Remove any damaged wood above the 2' cut and infill with epoxy fill. i. Stain concrete to match stone wall. j. Seal connection area between wood and concrete k. Re-install pavers and seal and slope away from concrete column. 4. Roofing a. Install any required new rafters and purlins. (96LF) b. Reinstall new gable end 1" x 4" cedar planks w/ 1/8" x 1/2 " tap cons @8" O. C. c. Install new synthetic thatch for both tiki hut and chickee hut. d. Install new draped net over 1" Hemp decorative rope, ensure netting and rope are clear of re-installed ceiling fans. 5. Electrical a. Reinstall cleaned speakers, outlets, lights and ceiling fans that were removed.
