This NAVFAC SW Design-Build task order is to install a new elevator in Building 77 with new equipment, controls, supports, and any related item for an operational system. This includes possible asbestos abatement, new concrete with existing concrete repairs, along with modifications to the existing sprinkler and Fire Alarm systems. The electrical for the current elevator to be replaced completely, along with the current elevator. There will be associated interior finishes that will need repair due to scope. The project duration is 560 days, including Design duration. The Government is requiring contractos to hold pricing for 60 days. This is Prevailing Wage and has the Buy American requirement. Subcontractors are required to have an EMR rating of 1.10 or lower, along with a DART rating of 3.4 or lower (Exceptions may be Allowed). Trades required: Construction Office Trailer, Portable Restrooms, Temporary Fencing, Temporary Power, Temporary Erosion Control, Sustainability Reporting, Construction Staking, Material Testing, Special Inspections, HAZMAT Survey, Total Building Commissioning, Demolition, Asbestos Abatement, Concrete, Concrete Repair, Metal Fabrication, Gypsum Board, Painting, Hydraulic Elevator, Fire Sprinkler, Electrical, Electrical Testing and Fire Alarm.
