Total Base Bid Project Cost =$ 17,462,749.17 TOTAL ADD ALT. #1 BID AMOUNT = 1,136,540.00 TOTAL ADD ALT. #2 BID AMOUNT = $934,345.00 Total Base Bid with Alternates Project Cost = $ 19,652,134.17 FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO. CRSA-0020-00(035) LPA / 107257 - 701000 Construction of 965 feet prestressed concrete beam continuous welded steel girder spanned bridge, crossing the Pascagoula River and paved approach roadways located along the Merrill Salem Road in George County, Mississippi. This project allows for a Contract Time of 280 Working Days and shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Cashier's check, Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the George County Board of Supervisors as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The attention of bidders is directed to the Contract Provisions governing selection and employment of labor. Minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor. The attention of Bidders is directed to the provisions of Subsection 102.07 pertaining to irregular proposals and rejection of bids.
