The project will consist of the construction of an at-grade loading ramp and generally the following materials; 5000 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 2006 square yards of crushed aggregate, 105 tons of superpave bituminous concrete wearing surface layer, 1/2 " maximum aggregate size mix, 450 square yards of reinforced cement concrete pavement (8 inches thick), 875 tons of loose riprap, 190 hay bales, 660 linear feet of silt fence, and all other labor, material, equipment, and work required or implied by the Contract Documents (Plans and Specifications). The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined and obtained at the office of Porter-Higginbotham Engineering, located at 2009 Paul W Bryant Drive, Suite C, Tuscaloosa, AL, 35401. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
