The project site is located at bridge over Garrets Run on Hawk Hollow Road (T530) approximately 280 feet North East of intersection with Garrets Run Road (SR 2025) Armstrong County, Pennsylvania Proposal must be upon the forms furnished by Manor Township and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the form attached to the Contract Documents, in the amount of 10% of the Bid, made payable to Manor Township. All envelopes containing Bid proposal shall be sealed and clearly marked "HAWK HOLLOW BRIDGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT". Manor Township reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all proposals, for any reason whatsoever. A Performance Bond, a Labor and Materialmen (Payment) Bond, and Maintenance Bond in the forms which are inserted after the Contract Agreement and each in the sum as herein specified and duly executed by the successful Bidder and Principal and by a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (signed by an Agent or Attomey-in-Fact who is a resident of Pennsylvania) and satisfactory to the Owner, as Surety, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract, the payment for labor and materials and for the guarantee and maintenance of the work. The Maintenance Bond shall be dated as of and is to continue in effect for a period of two (2) years from the date of completion, approval and acceptance of the entire work by the Owner. Performance Bond Full amount of the Contract Labor & Materialmen Bond Full amount of the Contract Maintenance Bond Full amount of the Contract (100% of final contract) No oral interpretation shall be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of any of the Contract Documents or be effective to modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least five (5) days before the established date for Bid opening. The Engineer will respond by Addenda, which shall become part of the Contract, to all questions received as above provided and his decision regarding each. At least three (3) days prior to the opening of Bids, he will send a copy of these Addenda to each of those who has obtained a set of the Contract Document Bidders must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the project within....60....consecutive calendar days.
