Old Missouri Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72765 Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Scope of Work Under this contract, the Contractor shall complete all water main replacement as shown on the plans and described herein including the furnishing of all labor, supplies, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and any other items necessary for the work. All work shall be completed in accordance with the working drawings, General Specifications, and these Detailed Specifications. Quality of Plans and General Specifications The construction plans have been prepared with care but should not be expected to be correct in every detail. Therefore, the Owner or Engineer may make minor changes to facilitate construction, preserve existing features, reduce construction costs, etc. The General Specifications are general in nature and may sometimes refer to work and conditions not found on this project. In such cases, non-applicable stipulations will have no meaning. If there is a conflict between the General Specifications and Detailed Specifications, the Detailed Specifications shall govern. Conflicts in plans and specifications shall be brought to the attention of the Engineer. The Engineer shall determine which of the conflicting elements shall govern
