Project involves rehabilitation of approximately 17 sanitary sewer laterals, including but not limited to lateral replacement by open cut or pipe bursting of approximately 1450 L.F. of 6-inch sanitary laterals, lateral root cleaning of approximately 170 L.F. of 6-inch sanitary laterals, pavement, basement and lawn restoration, and erosion control. The Village of Elm Grove reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Elm Grove at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Elm Grove equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Elm Grove as liquidated damages. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 15, 2023 Pre-Qualification: Yes Pre-Bid Meeting Info: No Pre-Bid Meeting. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holder's of Record. Questions received from Bidders that do not, in Engineer's opinion, allow sufficient time to respond prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
