Each bid must be accompanied by the Bid Documents, as indicated in Section 00 21 13 Instructions to Bidders, as well as a certified check, cashiers check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Kerrville, Texas, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that the contract and bond will be entered into within ten (10) days after the award is made. No bids will be accepted after 3:00 p.m. on the date of bid opening. A Performance/Payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price will be required. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the scheduled closing time for filing the bids. All questions/inquiries regarding this project shall be directed through Electronically by Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. CST. Questions that result in changes to the specifications will be answered in writing in the form of an addendum The Work is required to be substantially complete within 120 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in the General Conditions and complete and ready for final payment in accordance with the General Conditions within 30 days after the date of Substantial Completion
