The project shall include, but not be limited to the following: Furnish and install three(3) new stormwater pump stations complete with wet well, intake and outflow piping, valving, fittings, new Type "A" and Type "E" inlets, electric service, stormwater piping, water main relocation, SCADA system and site restoration. Pump station precast concrete wet well is approximately 8 FT wide, 10 FT long and 9 FT deep. Each station shall be equipped with two (2) 1,000 GPM submersible pumps. The stations are located on 13th Street, 29th Street and Harbor Drive within the Township of Long Beach. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Long Beach in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Township of Long Beach hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Township further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township.
