Trimble County Fiscal Court will be bidding out the roof work at several different locations/buildings- see list and addresses below. The cost for removal and replacement of shingled roofs for each individual building should be listed in a line item and a sum of all roof replacement costs totaled for the entire cost should be provided in the bid. Contractors to bid on an Owen's Corning Duration Storm 130-mph wind rated shingle, ice and water guard in the valleys and on the eaves, rhino synthetic underlayment. All the waste materials need to be disposed of at Valley View Landfill. Contractor to provide dumpsters at each location to dispose of waste. All areas will need to be barricaded off to protect citizens utilizing facilities while roofing work is being performed. Any sheathing damage or unforeseen damage exposed while work is being performed shall be brought to the attention of the Trimble County Judge Executive and a change order shall be executed at that time for cost difference. Any other issues will be addressed to the Trimble County Judge Executive if extra work needs to be performed. Contractors are responsible for measuring each individual roof and providing a detailed quote of work to be performed and quantities of shingles (square footage) to be replaced.
