Replacement of DID in Yakima with underground injection control including abandonment of DID #24, installation of 160 LF of storm drain pipe, 10 catch basin type 1, 9 catch basin type 2, 360 LF of infiltration trench, 210 LF of curb and gutter, excavation, grading, paving, and other related improvements. Contract time for this project is anticipated to begin by September 25, 2023. This contract has thirty-five (35) working days to complete the work. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Yakima for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Yakima in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the City Clerk's office on or before the day and hour above mentioned. The rules and regulations of the Department of Labor and Industries and the schedule of prevailing wage rates for the locality or localities where this Contract will be performed as determined by the Industrial Statistician of the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, are by reference made a part of this Contract. A schedule of prevailing wage rates is included in these Specifications. The City of Yakima reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Yakima.
