The Work generally consists of demolishing old transit bus shelters and installation of new transit shelters with an alternate to remove and replace concrete pads according to the drawings and as specified Bid security in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total Bid must accompany each Bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Maintenance Bond and a Payment Bond on the forms set forth in the Contract Documents as security for the faithful performance of, and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of, the Contract. Nondiscrimination in Employment. Bidders on this Work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for Bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the Specifications. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including, without limitation, the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if the City believes that it would not be in the best interest of the City to make an award to that Bidder. The City also reserves the right to waive informalities. * Documents here are for reference only, in order to be eligible to bid must purchase hard copy documents.
