The Norway Ridge Pathway is a 7-mile system of year-round recreational trails for non-motorized use. There are a number of existing boardwalks and culverts that are identified for replacement in the attached EGLE permit. Please note that the culverts and one of the boardwalks, Site 19, have already been replaced. There are 6 locations that are to have new boardwalks listed below with their approximate lengths. One additional location, site 16, is to have the existing +/-92-feet of boardwalk removed with the trail segment to be blocked off and rehabbed/naturalized. Refer to the information included in the attached EGLE permit. 1. Site 3, +/-481-feet of existing boardwalk is to be removed and replaced. 2. Site 5, +/-52-feet of existing boardwalk is to be removed and replaced. 3. Site 9, remove existing culvert and replace with +/-40-feet of new boardwalk. 4. Site 13, +/-231-feet of existing boardwalk is to be removed and replaced. 5. Site 14, +/-34-feet of existing boardwalk is to be removed and replaced. 6. Site 15, +/-64-feet of existing boardwalk is to be removed and replaced. Project Address Werth Road, Alpena, Mi 49707 Please do not submit online questions via VSS.
