The major items of work include installing 250 feet of sidewalk to fill an existing gap along 5th Street NE from A St NE to B St NE on the south side of the roadway along with 2 new curb ramps and 2 replacement ramps. The proposed bid range for the project is from $92,000 to $150,000. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 20 working days. This project is funded with the Community Development Block Grant and City of Auburn monies All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities and to accept any bid if such action is believed to be for the best interest of the City of Auburn *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
