Plumbing work includes installation of new exterior grease interceptor including excavation and backfill, cutting and patching of pavement, concrete pad installation, and wiring and conduit for highlevel alarm. Installation of new sanitary piping in crawl space below kitchen and connections to existing kitchen drains and existing sanitary main. Relocation of existing HVAC hot water piping as required. Removal of existing grease interceptor and patching of existing concrete kitchen floor. Grease Interceptor at Rockhill Elementary School. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, a cashiers check or a bid bond of an approved Surety Company in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of Southern Huntingdon County School District. Prepared copies of the form of Agreement, Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be furnished to the successful Bidder by the Architect. The forms of Agreement, Performance Bond and Payment Bond herein bound are for reference only and shall not be detached. Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bonds: The successful bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, before the award of the contract. Should the Contractor fail to complete the Work of its Contract, or any designated portion thereof, on or before the date(s) specified for Time of Completion referenced in the preceding Article, the Contractor shall be liable for Liquidated Damages for each such date missed in accordance with Supplementary Conditions The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive, at his discretion, any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto.
