Reference Number 0000325481 This project will require a contractor to prepare and paint all exterior surfaces of the Library building's Facade (East side). The work includes painting all windows, trim, cornices, columns, lamp-posts, and rails. Also within this project's scope is the repair and painting of the Bridge Street South sidewalk railing, and refinishing the interior doors (front vestibule). The project preparation will include power-washing and removal of existing peeling and distressed paint. The substrate (wood and metals) will then be repaired and prepped for finishing. This is a public works project. All workers must be paid the NYS Prevailing Wage for their job classification and supplemental benefits when applicable. The Library requires a statement on the bid sheet that the bid has been calculated at Prevailing Wage and that the Contractor agrees to submit weekly payroll certifications to the Library.
