This solicitation and the specifications that follow are being offered to qualified and select Bidders to furnish necessary labor, equipment, materials, supervision, tools, and all related incidentals required to perform swimming pool repair and maintenance services at seventeen (17) swimming pools located within City Schools. Materials and/or equipment must be 100% compatible with the specifications indicated within this solicitation. In addition, the Contractor shall provide for services in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer recommendations. These specifications will serve as the source document for services for the term of the Contract. The requirements outlined herein are intended as an aid to acquaint Bidders with what could be required to execute the work on an awarded contract; however, it is ultimately the responsibility of the awarded Bidder to determine and comply with legal, industry, and manufacturer requirements. The City Schools Department of Facilities Maintenance and Operations will determine the acceptability of all Work performed. If the Work is not acceptable, the Contractor will be called in to review and correct all problem areas without additional cost to City Schools. Upon notification by the City Schools Department of Facilities Maintenance and Operations, Contractors will affect repairs to deficient Work in accordance with a schedule jointly agreed upon by City Schools and the Contractor. City Schools will determine, in good faith, whether the Work is acceptable. City Schools reserves the right to procure installation Services only from awarded Bidder(s).
