The scope of this project consists of reconstructing roadways throughout the City of Milano. Unit price bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows (these are only a few of the major bid items): Preparing Right-of-Way (276 Stations) Roadway Excavation (12,400 CY) Channel Excavation (26,000 CY) Flexible Base Material (5050 CY) Storm Culverts - Various Materials and Sizes and Related Structures (3,345 LF) Broadcast Seeding (67,760 SY) Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified cashier's check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, payable to City of Milano in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project The deadline to ask questions is 8/02/2023 5:00 PM CST OPC posted is for base bid and all alternates. Base bid OPC is $3,032,371.32 Due to the changes identified in Addendum No. 2, the OPC for the project is now $3,172,306.
