The work to be performed under this contract includes intersection improvements at the intersection of Wolfensberger Road and Park Street in Castle Rock, Colorado. The project will improve safety at the intersection through the relocation of obstructions and facilities restricting turning radius onto and off-of Wolfensberger Road from the southern leg (Park Street). Park Street will be slightly widened at its' intersection with Wolfensberger Road. Scope of work includes: construction traffic control, signal pole relocation, drilled shafts, electrical signal work, structure removal, asphalt removal, concrete removal, sidewalk removal, grading, CIP retaining wall, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, sign installation, material testing, thermoplastic and pavement marking paint. The work shall be completed in seventy (70) working days as described in the Commencement and Completion of Work project special provision. Notice-to-Proceed is anticipated to be issued to the awarded contractor the week of April 24, 2024. The Contractor shall achieve Construction Completion within 70 working days, this will include all punch list work and demobilization. Location of the Work: The location of the work to be completed under this contract is in Castle Rock, Colorado within Douglas County. The work is to be completed to the intersection of Wolfensberger Road and Park Street just west of downtown Castle Rock.
