The project consists of the complete furnishing and installation of pickleball and tennis courts at the Centerfield Building, 6984 PA-611, Bangor, and all other associated work listed herein and as indicated on the plans. NO Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for this project Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Lower Mount Bethel Township; or a Bid Bond in favor of Lower Mount Bethel Township at 5% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workers employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the bid opening date. Lower Mount Bethel Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. Question Deadline 08/09/2023 at 12:00 PM ET The Performance and Payment Bonds shall each be in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and the Maintenance Bond shall be in the amount of 10% of the Contract Price and shall cover a maintenance period of one year. The time for completion of the work under this Contract shall be NINETY (90) calendar days after formal Notice-to-Proceed from the ENGINEER liquidated damages for delay only, TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) for each day from the expiration of such period to and including the day of completion.
