The Project includes the following Work: CONTRACT 2021-01 (CDBG): The base bid consists of the open cut replacement of approximately 739 LF of 8-inch & 10-inch gravity sewer, six (6) 4-foot Diameter Manholes, 300 GPM lift station, 2,150 LF of 6-inch PVC force main, service laterals, appurtenances, and incidental work. Also, to be considered in the contract is one (1) additive alternate for additional installation of approximately 1,405 LF of cured-in-place pipe of 8-inch gravity sewer, manhole rehab, service laterals, appurtenances, & incidental work. CONTRACT 2021-02 (ARPA): The base bid consists of open-cut replacement of approximately 879 linear feet of 12-inch & 15-inch gravity sewer, four (4) 4-foot diameter manholes, one (1) 5-foot diameter manhole, appurtenances, and incidental work. Also, to be considered in the contract are three (3) additive alternates for additional installation of approximately 2,400 LF of 8-inch & 12-inch cured-in-place pipe, 488 LF of 8-inch pipe bursting, manhole rehab, and service laterals, appurtenances, and incidental work. The Project has an expected duration of: CONTRACT 2021-01: 180 days Substantial Completion / 210 days Final Completion - If the Additive Alternate is awarded, 90 days will be added to CONTRACT 2021-01 CONTRACT 2021-02: 150 days Substantial Completion / 180 days Final Completion - If the Additive Alternate is awarded, 90 days will be added to CONTRACT 2021-02 The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
