The work includes demolish existing cap sheet roofs down to the substrate for City Hall Building A and B. Install new fall protection system around the atrium of the two roofs after installing the new roofing system. The new roof system consists of two ply modified bitumen with specified insulation to comply with title 24. Install walking pads where they are applicable for servicing mechanical equipment on the roof. Install two new roof hatches to comply with Cal OSHA standards. And all necessary work in the drawings and specifications provided. The estimated construction cost, or construction cost range, for the Project is $3,000,000. This estimate serves only as a guideline to bidders of the scope of the Work and the Project. No bidder, including the successful bidder, is entitled to make any claim against City based on inaccuracy of the estimated cost or range of cost of the Work or the Project. Each Subcontractor must be registered with the DIR to perform work on public projects. Each bidder must submit a completed Subcontractor List form with its Bid Proposal, including the name, location of the place of business, California contractor license number, DIR registration number, and portion of the Work (based on the Base Bid) for each Subcontractor that will perform work or service, or fabricate or install work, for the prime contractor in excess of one-half of 1 % of the bid price, using the Subcontractor List form included with the Contract Documents. A bidder who fails to attend a mandatory conference may be disqualified from bidding. Any changes will be advised by the issue of an addendum. Questions and Requests for Information or Clarification.
