As of Oct 18, 2023 The City decided to postpone the bid and go back out in the spring of 2024. Reference Number 0000328503 Purchase Type Duration: 1 year Option: WITH AN OPTION TO EXTEND The City of Rochester requests bids for OUTDOOR COURTS AND OTHER SITE WORK that will include the removal, repair, and/or new installation of tennis and basketball courts, paths, parking and various amenities within City properties, or at other locations directed by the City. Work shall include but not be limited to: patching, pavement fabric membrane, crack filling and leveling of existing asphalt courts; basketball and tennis standard removal and/or replacement; fence removal and/or replacement of 4, 6, 10, and 12 black vinyl coated chain link fencing; new asphalt, concrete, and stone dust pavement; court resurfacing for existing courts; color seal coating and line striping; and the installation of trash receptacles, benches and bicycle racks. Bidders should carefully review the Insurance Requirements of Section 19, and must certify on the Proposal that they have the insurance specified. Note: this contract incorporates new Minority Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) and Workforce Goal requirements, as required by Ordinance No. 2018-54. The City reserves the right to award multiple awards, if it is deemed in the best interest of the City This contract has a 30% MWBE goal consisting of 15% M and 15% W. This contract has Workforce Goals of 20% M and 6.9% W. Details about MWBE and Workforce Goals and contract requirements to meet these goals, as specified herein are located on Section 25.
