The proposed work consists of the relocation of the existing 6in sanitary sewer force main under the existing Flat Run Ditch and the section of force main within approximately 400ft of the existing discharge manhole, along with the installation of a new air release valve, structure, and other various items in before mentioned area of works. A bond providing for the bid guaranty and the contract bond in the full amount of the bid, or, A certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code. The amount of the certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. If this option is used, a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be furnished by the successful bidder as a condition of the contract. The Fulton County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. Special attention must be given to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the State of Prevailing Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions and the requirements for a payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price.
