Reference Number 0000325743 The Town of West Springfield is seeking proposals from vendors prequalified by MassDOT for HIGHWAY-CONSTRUCTION or HIGHWAY - SIDEWALKS & CURBING classes of work for the 2023 Complete Streets Sidewalk Improvement Project - Kings/Monastery/Morton/Piper Construction (IFB #24-0003). The Complete Street sidewalk locations include sections of Monastery Ave, Piper Rd, Morton St, Hale St and Kings Hwy. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M, inclusive as amended. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project. Federal Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the United States Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act also apply to this project. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish workmen's compensation insurance and public liability insurance.
