The Engineer Opinion of Probable Cost of Construction for the Project is $ 90,121.18..... All Contractors who desire to bid on the Project shall purchase the original 'hard copy' bid documents for $50.00 per set from the Engineer's Office located at 199 Ledge Road, Northfield, OH 44067. Check or cash is accepted. Check shall be made payable to "The Village of Northfield". All submitted bids shall be submitted in the original bid booklet in its entirety. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, materials and incidentals required for improving the drainage conditions for an approximate 440 linear feet portion of right-of-way along the South side of Sagamore Road by installing a storm sewer piping system, two catch basins, two headwalls, rock outlet protection, associated grading and restoring the roadside aggregate berm. All bidders shall include the Bid Form and entire Contract Document booklet along with any addenda in their entirety and original form with his/her bid. All bidding documents shall be obtained from the office of the Village Engineer. Duplicates of the Bid Form and Contract Documents will be considered unacceptable. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation currently licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar nature, size and complexity. The Village of Northfield intends and requires that this project be completed within 90 days after the issued Notice to Proceed. Bidders shall comply with the State of Ohio prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Summit County and Northfield Village, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division.
