The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as described in detail in the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications to construct the project. Major work components include installation of new lighting standards (poles, fixtures, conduits, panels, etc.) to the two baseball fields and multipurpose field at Cortez Park. Estimated cost is $250,000 . Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified check or a cashier's check or bidder's bond made payable to the City of West Covina for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total contract price. In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, the contractor shall a possess an A or B valid California Contractor s License. Failure to possess such license may render the bid as non-responsive and bar the award of the contract to that nonresponsive Bidder. The successful Contractor and subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the City of West Covina. This project is subject to the requirements of SB 854. Prevailing wages shall be paid to all workers in accordance with California Labor Code 1771.
