Licensing State of California Contractors License Classification B General Contractor Work to be Performed 1. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to repair approximately 500 sq. ft. of delaminated plaster on walls and buildings of the historic Olivas Adobe. 2. V-Groove, fill and repair approximately 215 liner ft. of cracks in plaster using like kind materials. 3. Apply 3 coats of lime paint to repaired areas. The City shall be the sole judge of the successful bidder hereunder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All questions regarding this Invitation to Bid (ITB) shall be submitted via email to Patricia Zavala, Senior Buyer, in the Purchasing and Contracts Division at pzavala@cityofventura.ca.gov PRIOR to Thursday August 10, 2023, at 4:00 PM. Any questions submitted after the deadline shall be rejected. Any response will be in the form of an addendum. If Bidder breaches its obligation to complete the work in accordance with the schedule provided for in the specification and any subsequent change order, the Bidder shall pay the City $500 per day for each day of delay as liquidated damages. State of California Contractors License Classification B General Contractor. A bid deposit in an amount equal to at least 10% of the bid may be required as a bid security by the City. The bid security may only be in cash, a cashiers check, a certified check made payable to the City, or a bid bond performance of the contract. This may take the form of a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of California and approved by the City, an endorsed Certificate of Deposit, or a money order or a certified check drawn on a solvent bank. The bond shall be in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%)
